Veterinarian

Dr. Courtney grew up in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She graduated with a Biology degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She went on to receive her DVM degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, finishing her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Courtney enjoys traveling, she went to Nicaragua to do relief work and spay/neuter animals to help with population control. Also, she worked at a penguin rehabilitation in South Africa. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery, endocrine diseases, acupuncture, and exotics/wildlife.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Courtney is either hanging outside, working out, watching sports – especially basketball or baseball, or enjoying time with her family and friends. She’s the fur-mom to a grey-diluted tortie named Daisy.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go? Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Fiji, Bora-Bora

Are you a morning person or a night person? Most definitely a night person, I don’t do well with mornings.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose? Teleportation, so I could travel anywhere in the world but skip the airports and planes.
